Alexander Zang Executive board member Alexander Zang is shareholder of BCC, Business Communications Consulting GmbH, a consultancy firm based in Frankfurt am Main which specializes in strategic communications. As a director of the Forest Carbon Group AG he is responsible for product development and sales. In the past few years he has focused on sustainability strategies in the energy and cleantech sectors, carbon footprinting and related issues. He’s an expert in change management and implementing sustainability into corporate decisions and procedures.

Dana Veith
Managing Director Dana Veith is in charge of the Products & Solutions department at the Forest Carbon Group. She specialises in designing and developing new energy products. She has worked for the energy supplier HSE AG since October 2004 where she was responsible for the Innovation & Development department. Dana made a significant contribution to the strategic reorientation of the sales subsidiary ENTEGA, conceiving of an eco-electricity product that is attractive to a wide range of customers and furthered environmental and climate friendly energy supply. She gave impetus to a new natural gas product at ENTEGA, which compensates the emissions caused by heating with natural gas with a reforestation project in Canada. Georg Schattney
Managing Director
Georg Schattney is responsible for developing Forest Carbon markets and for project financing. In addition, he is responsible for internal company finance planning and financial controlling. Previously he led the sustainability and financial market departments at BCC – Business Communications Consulting - and worked for Deutsche Börse (the German Stock Exchange) and Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and Brussels. Back then he focused on issues of market development and market regulation. At Deutsche Börse he headed a product development team for electronic stock trading (Xetra). In addition, he worked on strategic evaluations of the business potential of carbon markets by Deutsche Börse and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He dealt with this issue from the perspectives of the financial services industry, manufacturing industry and politics.

Stefanie Anne-Wissing
Director Client Services
Stefanie Anne-Wissing came aboard the Forest Carbon Group in October 2010 as Client Relationship Manager. She was introduced to climate and forest projects through her previous work with the Vancouver based company Ecosystem Restoration Associates (ERA) for whom she spent one year in Senegal, Westafrica as Project- and Relationship Manager. Prior to this assignment, she had been with Deutsche Bank for twelve years as International PR- and Marketing Manager. During her professional career as communications expert she gained insights into various sectors like public broadcasting (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), the automobile industry (Bayerische Motorenwerke - BMW) as well the chemical industry (Hoechst/Clariant).

Michael Sahm
Director Public Relations
Michael Sahm is a journalist, author and communications consultant with more than a decade of experience in radio, print media and public relations. He heads the Communication department at the Forest Carbon Group. Throughout his professional work he has been covering issues of environmental protection and climate change as well as energy and development. His strengths are strategic analysis and intercultural communication. He has always been interested in making complex issues, such as climate protection, comprehensible and accessible to a broader public. Before joining the Forest Carbon Group, he worked for the World Bank in Washington, the British consultancy firm Carbon International in Brussels and as a reporter in the US, Europe and Asia. Katharina Öhlschläger
Project Administration
Katharina Öhlschläger is the Office Manager and organises project planning. Before joining the Forest Carbon Group she worked for the utility company HSE AG in the Innovation & Development department, where she helped develop new products for the energy market. The issue of sustainability is one of her main interests. In this regard she brought the Mobility Management project into being at HSE AG. In addition, she was responsible for developing a sustainability concept for the sales subsidiary ENTEGA. Antje Schuler
Manager Communications & Marketing
Antje Schuler is a skilled communications specialist and at Forest Carbon Group responsible for Public Relations. Living part-time in Berlin, she plans and co-ordinates communication activities for the company from events to strategic partnerships. When it comes to climate protection, the Masters of Arts graduate knows something about the challenges especially the energy sector is facing. At her last position with public relations agency Johanssen + Kretschmer in Berlin she was in charge of PR projects for the biggest green energy company in Germany, ENTEGA. When she travelled through Canada, Antje came across the interlinked issues of forest and climate protection. Marc-Michael Schloß
Manager Carbon Accounting
Marc-Michael Schloß is a specialist in corporate environmental management. For the Forest Carbon Group he measures the carbon footprint of companies, products and events. His carbon accounting is the basis for offsetting carbon-emissions through afforestation and avoided deforestation projects. As sustainability manager, he is also responsible for calculating our in-house carbon emissions. Before joining the Forest Carbon Group, he worked for an energy efficiency consultancy. Marc-Michael Schloß studied environmental engineering at the Technical University Rüsselsheim. In 2009, he started his post-graduate studies at the Technical University Bingen where he focusses on energy & facility management. Corinna Zander
Office Management Corinna Zander works as Office Manager of the Forest Carbon Group. She is responsible for the administrative processes within the company but also co-ordinates with HSE AG, the majority shareholder of FCG. Prior to joining the Forest Carbon Group she worked as Executive Assistant at marketing firm DDB Berlin GmbH and branding agency MetaDesign AG in Berlin.
